Check Signal Strength and Improve Connection | Magic Eagle

How to Check Signal Strength and Improve Connection Performance

If your Magic Eagle® camera isn’t connecting properly, or often goes offline, try the following steps to check signal strength and optimize connection:
  1. Check Battery and Power
Make sure the camera is not powered off and the battery is not low. A weak battery may cause connection issues or prevent the camera from turning on.
  1. View Signal Status in the App
Open the Magic Eagle® App and check the device status on the homepage or in the device settings. A red or gray signal icon means the connection is unstable.
  1. Compare Signal Using Your Phone
Place your phone at the same location as the camera, and check your signal strength.
  • Make sure your phone’s carrier is Verizon, AT&T, or T-Mobile.
  • If your phone shows poor signal too, the network in that location is likely weak, and the camera may fail to connect.
  1. Optimize Placement
If the signal is weak:
  • Try installing the camera in a more open area, away from metal, walls, and other obstructions.
  • Avoid placing the device in corners, underground, or behind thick materials.
