Camera Won’t Turn On or Is Offline? Try These Fixes

What to Do If the Camera Won’t Power On or Goes Offline

If your camera can’t be powered on or goes offline, it means it has lost connection and can’t function normally. Here are some possible causes and solutions to help you troubleshoot:

1. Check Power Supply

  • Make sure the battery is not low or fully drained.
  • Confirm that the camera is switched on.

2. Check Network Signal

  • If the camera has no signal, compare it to your phone’s signal in the same area.
  • If both have no signal, try installing the device in a location with a more stable network.

3. Avoid Signal Interference

  • Weak signal can cause the camera to go offline.
  • Thick walls, bricks, ceramics, large metal objects, electronic devices, and large bodies of water may interfere with signal strength.
  • Try relocating the device to avoid these obstacles.

4. Check Your Phone’s Network and Permissions

  • Make sure your phone is connected to the Internet.
  • Confirm that the Magic Eagle® App has the correct network permissions enabled in your phone settings.
