How to Install the Solar Panel Outdoors for EagleCam 5
To ensure optimal performance of your EagleCam 5, it's important to install the solar panel
securely and at the right angle. Depending on the surface, you can use either strap fastening
or screw fastening. Follow the instructions below for proper setup:
🔸 STRAP FASTENING
- Thread the strap through the circular metal piece in the direction shown in the diagram.
- Secure the circular metal piece to the bottom of the bracket using a No. 2 screw.
- Turn the bracket's nut to the left to make it active, then turn the bracket to the right against the solar panel screw hole until it is fully tightened. To remove the bracket, press the spring tab to easily disassemble it.
- Tie the strap around the tree trunk or pole and tighten the buckle to firmly lock the strap. Adjust the tilt angle of the solar panel and tighten the nut to receive as much sunlight as possible every day.
🔹 SCREW FASTENING
- Apply the positioning sticker to the desired installation location. Then, use an electric drill to make a hole at the marked spot. Insert the expansion tube into the hole.
- Turn the bracket's nut to the left to make it active, then turn the bracket to the right against the solar panel screw hole until it is fully tightened. To remove the bracket, press the spring tab to easily disassemble it.
- Secure the solar panel bracket to the wall or tree using a No. 1 screw.
- Adjust the tilt angle of the solar panel and tighten the nut to receive as much sunlight as possible every day.
Once installed, your EagleCam 5 will have a stable and continuous power source for long-term outdoor operation.
