How to Adjust Recording Duration and Detection Interval
In the Magic Eagle® App, you can customize how long each motion-triggered video is recorded, as well as the time interval between two motion events. This helps you balance storage usage, battery life, and recording coverage based on your needs.
How to adjust these settings:
- Go to the Motion Detection settings page in the app
- Tap Maximum Recording Duration to adjust how long each video clip lasts. The default setting is 10 seconds, but you can select other duration
- Tap Detection Interval to set the delay time before the next detection event is triggered. The default setting is 30 seconds. For example, you can avoid back-to-back recordings by setting a longer interval.
These settings work together to help you control how frequently and how long your camera records during motion events.
